Tile Mural Project
(Community/School/Art Residency/Public Art/ Installation)
This cooperative project incorporates designing the overall mural, drawing the design onto ceramic tiles, and painting the tiles which will be kiln fired for permanancy. The school, community, or curriculum based theme will enhance the environment, promote school/community pride, teach students/participants the discipline of a major project, the give and take needed when working with a group, and the important role they have been given to ‘leave a trace!’
