PAINTED TILE MURAL WORKSHOP
Design, lay out, and hand paint a permanent, kiln fired ceramic tile mural. (Think kitchen backsplash, bath, tabletop, fireplace, or outdoor garden feature). Beginners without any previous art making expereince welcome, as any existing art image can be simply transfered onto the tiles and then painted. Advanced artists working in other media delight in the translation of your work onto this new permanent surface. At the end of each session we fire what we have painted, allowing your mural(and skill level)to develop in complexity.

OPTION: A STEP-BY-STEP TILE MURAL WORKSHOP
Work from a template design. No drawing or painting experience needed, as students will all be supplied with a pattern. (More confident artists can customize it). Follow along with me, step by step, in a relaxed, no pressure atmosphere designed so that all will go home from this unique class with a tile mural ready for permanent install, or to hang like a 'painting.'
